What is the best way to check a front end out as far as joints and pivots? If I jack the car up with a floor jack it would seem that things would not be easy to check. Should I sit the jack stands under the wheel mounts or try to use ramps? Suggestions needed. Thanks in advance.

click the upper search and choose google then type alignment plate.

that way you can turn the wheels back and forth while watching the parts for play.
