NRA Decal and Resale
Now that I removed the National Rifle Association decal from my 87 300TD, will that help or hinder resale?
Seriously....made me nervous having that thing on the car in the very progressive-leaning town and state I live in. Made it an easy target for vandalism!

When it comes to anything controversial, the potential for "downside" far outweighs the potential for "upside."

Put an ACLU sticker next to it, now either everyone will attack you, or all attackers will leave confused. Or move to New Hampshire (Live Free or Die).

When selling a car, I think the prevailing opinion in the industry is to basically "depersonalize" the car as much as possible.

NRA vs NRA vs NRA
Didn't the Supreme Court declare NRA unconstitutional in 1935? Oh wait, a different NRA.

It's annoying how some dealerships add a permanent logo, other than Yenko on a late 60s Camaro anyway. The most I see in California is an easily removed license plate frame. Sixto 87 300D |

I guess it depends on where you live. Around here, it would be a positive or at least neutral. There must be folks if some parts of the country that don't believe in The Bill of Rights or even the Constitution for that matter. Regardless, this probably should be in OD, rather than Diesel Discussion if it is meant to rile discussion.

I find it hard to believe that the peace-loving, celebrate all, progressive anti-gun groups would push vandalism... But that's why I find so much of the polarity type stuff just so outright stupid. Either end of the spectrum is equally guilty and wrong, because of the issues they cause.

I would describe those as complete, professional designs rather than a private individual adding stickers, aftermarket stereo, hub caps, etc...

True be that. Us MBz diesel owners need a bit of precision and fact in the mix, and can happily live without spin and false binaries.

I'd probably throw in an extra $10 to get the car with the decal still on it
All four of my vehicles have one, and the Dodge also got one of these: |
