From the (very crude) BBR website:
"BBR Automotive is a worldwide trading company specializing in the import & export of spare parts...."

Another "German" supplier importing from the third world. In other words, "you pays your money, you...."

OE Products - BBR Automotive GmbH

My $0.02 would be to put a "want to buy (WTB)" ad in the used parts for sale and wanted section and try to find a good used one for less.

Thanks guys. I remember only about 10 or 12 years ago a genuine MB regulator was under a hundred.

LOL when I had my w116 they were never that cheap. What a wakeup call, first time I had to replace one. If you want a real shock, look up the current price for an OE one for a w123: $423....
