I talked to Michael today. He has the radiator hoses hooked up, the hood and front fenders aligned and mounted the doors hung and the running boards straightened. I just ordered a hvac unit from vintage air today. I may go up early tomorrow. I need pictures!

vintage air, I am told by my classic car club pals, makes the best AC units for these old cars.

I ALREADY SPENT MY DISCRETIONARY $4K this year on power front disc brakes and power steering, that made my 1967 Cougar a nice easy driver (took it to Nevada the other day for a date and to get the proper touch up paint (illegal to sell or supply in California!!) for it.

vintage air may go on it next year. The Mustang resto shop that looks afer my Cougar is amazingly, a DEALER for vintage air.

He told me (owner of the shop) in answer to MY question, that it would be MY choice as to whether to put R134a or the more expensive R12 in the car.

R12 is harder to get now, and LOTS more expensive when you do, but I am a lot more comfortable with it, and it cools better than R134a does.

Which of the two will you select for the Studebaker?
