New project

Someone call the cops because I stole this!!!!! ( well not really but for $323 I'd consider it stolen!!!)

Car it came out of had a bad transmission. Cranks over by hand just fine. No oil in the intercooler.

Now way. I'd rather put it in my car. Just need another 603 IP and do some work before dropping it in one day.

Nice engine Maybe I will make my next mega project to shove a 606 into a W201 with a 5 speed. That may be a ways out. Though a w126 with a 606 would also be sweet....

I've got a 601 in a 201 and a 603 in an 126. Is the 606 that much better? isn't it a more complex engine with more electronics?

I'm not messing with the electronic controlled IP. I'm swapping over a 603 IP.

The 606 can make more power and the twin cam head is more efficient than the 603. Plus its also 100000x more efficient at snapping glow plugs.

Getting rid of the computer stuff sounds like a good idea. Will a 603 IP still make the same power?
