2005 E320CDI Oil, Fuel Filter Change

Hi, can't get the oil filter canister to budge, any advice? I assume it turns counterclockwise to remove. It has a clockwise arrow and 25NM on the top.
The fuel filter has hoses attached with 1-time clamps (oetiker?); what is the method to remove and reattach the hoses?
Also please outline the steps to change the fuel filter. It appears to have a provision for bleeding air out; I want to know before I go, if you now what I mean, as I haven't changed this before.
Thanks a bunch!
PS Mobil1 Extended Performance Formula M has gone to $12.37 per quart at Pep Boys.

Fuel filter DIY courtesy of MBWorld.org HERE IS E320 Cdi Fuel Filter Change Procedure - MBWorld.org Forums

Oil Filter--buy the correct factory tool--I use the same 1 I also use for 112 and 104 engines. It works perfectly and when attached to a ratchet will remove your cap in 5 seconds. I broke a generic Autozone filter wrench before I bought the correct $24 tool.

I got the fuel filter changed out today; once I got the Clic pliers, and got the clips off, nothing to it.
Hint: when bleeding the filter, there is provision for using a short rubber tube to vent the output to a container; use it. It will keep Diesel fuel from blowing everywhere.
