602 pre chamber shims - where to purchase ??
Hello,
Could someone please point me in the direction of the Prechamber shims for a 602 engine. These shims facilitate the setting of the prechamber projection after the cylinder head has been machined. I have not been able to find them listed by application here on pelican parts 1991 W124 300D 602 thankyou

Investigating since 8:00 AM.
There is no listing in EPC. I hope to have an answer today, but MB works at their own pace. .

The below info is for the 603 Engine in the section that they show using the Cutter to resurface the Prechamber Seat in the Cylinder Head.
I believe the 601 in the Part Number indicates it goes back to that Engine. If you look close this site indicates the same Seal Rings work ont 601-606 Engines http://avto.pro/zap-6010170460-MERCEDES-2054936048/

We'd all like to know! There is a part number in the manual I believe, I don't have access right now...

That russian site I linked to in Post #3 at the bottom has a list of other markers of the Ring. Acrossed from Erling it has that it is good for 601-606 Engines.
