Sun visor wire cut = no lights/stereo?

Ok so my sun visor doors are long gone and the light / mirror insert flop out whenever i need to block some sun. So, i got the bright idea to clip the wires and remove the whole piece till i can find replacement visors. I got as far as clipping the blue (positive) wire when my dome light went out. Interesting. Not only that, the radio doesn't work, either. Headlights are fine. Did i just blow a fuse or did i cut into something bigger than i expected?

It's your #4 fuse. You shorted the circuit with the blue wire.

Yes

Been there, done that.

The fuse fried when you clipped the wire, or the cut end shorted.
