I drive with size 15, no problems. My heel is in line with the brake pedal and my big-a$$ foot leans to the right to hit the go pedal.
Are you wearing snow boots?

I too began to ponder whether something was amiss with the console carpet down there last night, because my foot fit fine with the auto pedal in place, even while wearing combat boots. I do have very wide feet, but what the heck? I double-checked the car, and everything is attached properly.

After digging the auto pedal out of the discard pile and examining it, I figured out that something about the donor pedal is just weird when I looked at it closely. Turns out someone modified it already... for narrow feet, apparently. Well, mystery solved. weird, but easily correctable. I will saw down the auto peddle to the right size and shape, and bolt it in.

Who knows... The donor car was a 300D that had been converted with 240D parts previously. Having the correct length driveshaft and linkages already set up more than makes up for the minor inconvenience of the bizarre brake pedal.
