Nailing when cold

85 300D

Just had valve adjustment, fuel filters, oil change etc.

Car nails pretty nicely when cold at first start up, with a small bit of smoke. Goes away every time after 30 seconds.

Is it new injector time?

I do know the return lines weep a bit, they will be taken care of next week or so.

A little background info

Car has about 165,000 or so miles on it. Runs clean, only black smokes a poof under hard acceleration at higher RPM's.

Nailing at start up/ when the engine is cold is normal. As long as it goes away you should be fine.
