Airflow Requirements for Intake Precleaner Sizing on OM617

I need to get my intake outside of the engine bay and am looking at mounting a precleaner on a very short riser pipe coming out of the cowl. It is an OM617.951 in a Jeep Wrangler. I hate the look of snorkels, but I want it out of the engine bay due to heat swamping...

I am looking at these precleaners made by Sy-Klone. The 9000R is rated up to 120 CFM and only costs $50 shipped. The 9001 is rated at 275CFM but costs like $120 shipped plus an additional 20 for an adapter.

I have searched extensively and can not find good info on what CFM this engine needs. Anyone have any idea???? Is the 120CFM one way too small, or just fine???

9000R: Sy-Klone International: 3-inch Sy-Klone Series 9000 Precleaner for 50 to 120 CFM (1.42 to 3.40 m3/m)

9001: Sy-Klone International: 4-inch Sy-Klone Series 9000 Precleaner for 100 to 275 CFM (2.83 to 7.79 m3m)
