What does the tank vent look like? (1984 300TD)
 
I'm pretty sure I have a clogged tank vent. I had intermittent power loss but that ceases when I crack the fuel cap open. I'm not sure what the vent looks like to clean it though. Are there any photos anywhere on the forum? I didn't turn up anything in some searches.
