Indy or shade tree mechanic near Charlotte, NC?

I have no time to figure out what's going on with my 300TD (W123). I need to have someone take a look at it for me. Can anyone recommend any mechanics who know the W123 pretty well(might be an IP issue)? I'm near Charlotte, NC. I'm cool with taking it to someone who knows what they are doing but is not a shop or full time pro. I'd rather not pay the premium of a dealership or large import shop.

Thanks.

NC-Friend, vstech, and a couple others are near you. You might want to try one of them... what is wrong with the car?

I'm in touch with vstech and he has been instrumental in helping me over the years but this is a busy season for him and it doesn't look like he has time either. I'll look up the other guy.
