1987 300SDL condensor same as 80-85 300D?
Hello, does anyone know for sure if the 1987 300SDL A/C condensor is the same as 80-85 300D? everything looks like it will work but I have searched and searched and have not found a consistent answer. Some places say yes and many say no, they sure look the same any help is much appreciated. thanks

It's been converted to r134, and I cant source a replacement that looks like it will work. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a condenser that would fit my 1987 300SDL thats been converted to R134?

The stock condenser for your car will work fine with r134. The W126 received an upgraded condenser in late '84. Prior to that it's best to stick with R12.
The 300D condenser will not fit and is not very efficient. |

Thanks for the info, I meant 300SD though, sorry, does that make a difference? It looks exactly like the one in the picture here and everything look like it would line up perfectly.
