antique insurance

Now that the 300sd is 30, are there any companied that will cover these as antiques? The odometer never moves, if you know what I mean.

I really don't use it a lot, just like having it. I have pretty decent limits, but state farm wants 1500 a year!!

Hagerty offers classic car insurance at reasonable rates. I just did a sample quote on my 80 300SD with a value of $5k (not really worth this much) and 3k miles driven per year and got back a price of $163 per year.

Hagerty Insurance - Fueling the collector car hobby through insuring and supporting the classics

many insurers have this option but you have to ask. when i last looked into it i think the requirement was driving under 2500 miles a year and i had to promise it would not be used for commuting - some terms like that. not dissimilar from getting a "historical" license plate as i recall.

State Farm insures my '68 Jeep as an antique for around $5 per month. You have to have an antique tag.

CAI (classic Car Insurance) $157 year declared value $12,200 Full Coverage $0 Deductible on SDL. Good company sell you 1 year policies. They do make you send them pictures and you have to do an odometer statement yearly. Max miles I can drive is 5K - but its lucky if it gets 500
