91 W124 - head bolts Victor-Reinz vs OEM ?
Hello,
I am preparing to purchase new head bolts for a 602 engine 1991 and wondered if there is anyone who knows if the Victor Reinz head bolts are inferior to the genuine Mercedes ? thankyou |

I used VR bolts when I replaced the head on my 1987 300D and had no problems. That was two years ago -- make sure they're not made in China now.

I also used the Victor Reinz ones when I did the head replacement on my 300d...no issues.

Surely VR was the OE for Mercedes? Mine were MB.
A better question is what HG are you using? 605 or 602?
