Need help identifying transmission coolant hose (1985 300TD,W123)
Hi there, Ive been tryign to find a replacement solid metal line that runs between the radiator and the transmission. Its the one on the passenger side that is bracketed to the engine oil pan and then continues on to the transmission.
Either i have the part name and category wrong or its a part that seems unavailable. The leak seems to be right at the bracket attached to the engine oil pan. I may just try and use some rubber and a hose clamp to patch it and see how it goes, but as Im making a parts order today for other things I was tryign to see what the damage would be simply to replace it. Thanks for any help anyone can offer. |

722.315 tranny -1232704096
722.416 tranny -1232704796 Thats according to EPC. Best thing to do is cut the metal tube, attach a hose and clamp both ends of the hose while you wait for your part. Try to get one in the junkyard. Im using the metal tube from an SD to my D for the driver side. I dont know how different it is for the TD.
