Transmission gear Selector bushing
Just put my auto transmission back in my car and adjusted the gear selector only to have the rubber bushing turn to dust. Now it rattles and I can't get it in L, first and second gear. My favorite spot for around town driving. Any ideas on the part number? Also, where might I find the arm that runs from the trans to the selector?

Just replaced my bushing. It is a very tight/pressed in fit and it was easiest to remove the shifter from the car, use a vice and sockets to press the bushing in, and reinstall the shifter. I assume you are working on a W123, here is the part:
