That's always potentially the case with all dealers, where I prefer to buy used.

Talk about anal!!! I have all the records on my 240D since the day I bought it new in 1982. That includes every tank of fuel it ever got with the mpg calculated each time. I probably over maintain my cars. It isn't officially for sale, but for the right price, i.e. a price I likely wouldn't pay, it's available. I've got four cars, two drivers and only a three car garage. I think over the past six or seven years, it only gets about 500 miles a year put on it.
