75 240d glow plug wiring queston

I recently picked up a 240d. It doesn't start it just cranks and cranks. But anyways I have been running down the basic things to see why it isnt starting. I got to the glow plugs and they are wired for the fast glow pencil kind but they have loop style GP in the car. If I have read correctly since there is no ground the parllel setup will not heat loop style plugs. I just want to be sure before I order the fast glow pencil style plugs.

Thanks guys any help is awesome I just wanna drive the car becaue it looks bad ass.

As you see in this pic the wire setup and also the relay is working and sending out 12v when the push button is pressed also disregared the fuel leaks replaced hoses and had been bleeding the fuel sytem

yup. the wires are configured for pencils, and you have loops in there... likely not doing anything, as there is no ground... or resistance wires.
get a set of pencils (80035 I think...)
here's a page on alternate fuse/circuit breakers...

What the Google moggle happen to this car.....seems like someone wanted an impala.....

You've got a really leaky injector first...

Second, yeah someone put loop plugs in and wired them like the newer fast glow updates are suppose to be wired....so they won't work....unless you have the original resistor wires and insulators to redo the OEM setup other wise you will need the fast glow up dates Bosch 80035.....and with the fast glow update you won't need the ground wire and you may want to upgrade the crossover wires to a thicker gauge....

Nice car...if you were to raise it back to stock and get rid of the impala antennas....though to each their own...

Wire gauge looks fine to me. You do need to refit some springs to that car.
