I'm interested in upgrading my fuel injectors after reading about these Volkswagen AAZ 2-stage injectors. As I understand, they offer a slight increase in power and fuel economy and the engine runs quieter and idles smoother. It seems most people are putting them in the OM617 turbo engines, but I'm curious if they are compatible with the OM601. I also stumbled across a few threads that mentioned an "angled injection" upgrade for OM60x engines that is supposed to improve fuel economy, but haven't been able to find more detailed information, part numbers, etc.
