Time to change front struts 124?
What is a reasonable amount of time to change these?

They are not hard to replace, I did them on my W124 in about 30 mins per side. They only had about 135k at the time and were 90% dead.

takes me about 1 tops on both sides. But as said - these struts are extremely durable - remove them and pump them up and down for about 40 cycles, now get a bathroom scale and put it on it.
Press the strut about 4 inches on the piston, measure the scales - it should show nearly 50 lbs for a new strut, and about 25 or 28 lbs for a shot strut. In some cases jarry response is also due to bad ball joints.
