Lol. There was a 240 engine on craigslist locally here for 800 bucks or so for months. The sad part is these guys hugely overprice these motors, which in running condition shouldnt be more than 500 bucks at the most, and when they get no bites, off to scrap metal it goes. Big waste of a motor

It's amazing how many people have never seen PNP pricing. You can get an engine and trans pulled and set in the back of your truck for under $500.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

Nope, pulled a 240D engine in Richmond...was less then 300$ and came with a 6 month warranty...
