I'm a newbie who try to understand my old 2002 2.9 MB140D. By this time threre is an electrical problem, nothing to see with this discussion at all, but the info.

Replacement parts are hard to find, I currently live in Colombia, so having specific data at least for the engine would help me so much.

This is a smooth and powerful vehicle. Odometer says 380,000 Kms and the van works as well as I could want. Passengers go comfortably in its wide interior.

From the moment we bought the car I've repaired cylinder head, injection pump, and replaced oil carter, alternator. There are some more parts to fix or replace with no urgence.

So, if somebody can tell me how to obtain service manuals or electrical diagrams or any kind of data I would appreciate it too much.
