'96 E300D Climate Control Issues

I'm hoping someone here can help me out. The AC quit on my '96 E300D a while ago so I took it in to an independent AC shop and had it checked out. They said the compressor/clutch was seized up so I had them replace the compressor and dryer. When I picked it up they said that something was wrong with the Climate Control system since the clutch wasn't working properly. They indicated that the clutch wasn't receiving a full 12V so it was shuttering/slipping and recommended that I take the car to an electrical specialist. When I got home I decided to pull the codes off the Climate Control Unit and found two codes .... B1419 which is the clutch code and B1462 - Wide open throttle (WOT) position signal: diesel engines. I cleared the B1419 code but the second WOT code doesn't clear. I can't find any info online as to how to troubleshoot a B1462 fault and if that code has any relation to my clutch problem. Any one out there have a suggestion?

The clutch coil only gets ~7 volts on my 97 and works fine. Are you sure they shimmed the clutch correctly? The clutch coil has built in thermal fuse that tends to fail with age. The solution is to replace it with with a non fused coil.

B1462 seems to only show up in 96 OM606 cars. As far as I can tell OM606 CCU doesn't get a TPS input.
