CL alert:potential motor 83 240d in New England

Saw this on Vermont CL--no affiliation. Running car with no body underneath.... manual trans.

1983 Mercedes 240 D

Too bad, but with 300k in the Rust Belt, not really a surprise.

We had a '79 300D fail state inspection for the same reason, not nearly as many miles. Car ran perfect
