questions about 85 300TD SLS...

So, My car is level. But in digging around I found these spacers in the rear springs...

Which got me paying more attention... today I drove the car to work and after sitting for 8 hours, I started it and felt the car lift up. Now, in the 2.5 years I have owned the car, the hydraulic fluid has never dropped, I see no leaks anywhere... But the rear end is defiantly not and high and tight as my 82 was once I put the rams in I got from Vstech. Car feels "floaty"

Whats the best point of attack to sort this out>?
