I need to replace the power steering pump (ears broken off) on my 91 300d w/602. Any advice would be wonderful.

Thanks

there's not much to it.

take off the belt, inspect the tensioner and pulley for play/binding. then pull the hoses off the pump, and swap to the new pump, reattach everything.

Well, I was able to find a rebuilt pump locally through a friend at jobber price. $128 for the pump and no core charge. Every where I checked, they wouldn't take the old pump as a core because the mounting ears are broken off.
Well, VSTECH is correct. It only took about 15 min to change the pump but about 1 hour to get the new belt on. Now it shoiuld only take about another hour to get the belt on correctly. It slips real bad now and I see that it is on wrong. Well, that's what happens when you get old and can't see very well.

Thanks
PaulM
