New addition 240 D 4 speed Euro

It's a 1983 Euro...the PO had to pay $2735. for converting it to US spec. and they kept the headlights and instrument cluster.
Note the EGR pics...I disabled the vacuum but plan to take it off....It's a super nice car but I am not crazy about the color....replaced the clutch slave, changed the tranny fluid and replaced 2 missing shifter rod bushing...it now shifts much better thanks to funola, leatherman and walgamuth...
PO won a new Porsche...had to sell his 240 for money to pay taxes on it.
MY FIRST TIME TO TRY TO UPLOAD PICS

Hmm - sell the W123 to pay taxes on the Porsche? I'd sell the Porsche to fix up the W123. But I'm not normal.

More evidence of this is how much I like the color on that car.

Enjoy!

Nice!

Not crazy about the color?! This is either my favorite color or 2nd favorite...I also really like pumkin orange. But I would give my eye teeth to get my hands on this european beauty! .....especially if the upholstery, seats and interior door trim, were houndstooth check pattern cloth.

One of my favorite color combos for these is green on avocado interior... Or simply green on green...

4th guy here who loves your color combo .

Looks like a sweet ride in general. How many miles on it?

That looks like a nice car! If I had to pick my favorite green for a car that would be it. Glad you got it shifting nice!

Porsche = silly frivolous expensive toy.
I'd fix up BOTH my W123s, and then some!

Happy Motoring, Mark
