Help, glowplugs dead after 4 months!

I replaced all 5 of the glowplugs on my 300D in December and now I have the same no light no start problem. I checked the resistence of each plug (from the 6 slot connector to ground, on the 200 scale) and glowplug 1 and 3 show 1.5-2.4 and 1.3-2.8 . But glowplugs #'s 1,4, and 5 show 0.00 ! They should show either a low number(if good) or infinity (if bad). Glowplugs are really just resisters that produce lots of heat so they should have a high resistence like 1.5 on the 200 scale = 300 ohms. Zero makes no sense at all to me. Is there a short somewhere or inside the glowplugs themselves?
