Flex Disc, Center Line Support, and Transmission Mount

This is a 1983 240D Auto. I don't know if these photos are good enough to tell if any of these parts need to be replaced besides the Transmission Mount. The Transmission Mount is obviously shot I assume due to the leaking Transmission Fluid. I have a Meyle on order. And typical leak locations?

If you are positive that transmission fluid is the leak source:

Pan (use a torque wrench on the new gasket, it is less than you think)
Cooler lines (check for seepage and missing rubber cushion on the clamps)
Secondary pump seal (is the leaking fluid only on the rear part of the transmission?)

What about the flex discs? Can you tell when they are on it should I remove them for inspection?

When I changed my flex discs I didn't think they were in bad shape until I removed them from the car. There were a bunch of small cracks all around both discs. I think that they are so reasonably priced you might as well do it.

The condition of the flex disc can be checked under the car looking closely at it with a light. The photo won't work.

The only reliable parts vendors for the flex discs are Lemforder and OE Mercedes. Neither is cheap, but the Lemforder is less than the OE.

For the center bearing, if it goes bad you will hear it. If you want to be pre-emptive, you will need to get under the car with the driveshaft turning and listen to it with a mechanic's stethescope. Even that is not 100 pct reliable, mine did not make noise under those conditions but was evidently bad when removed. Replace the carrier at the same time (or if the carrier is falling apart, do them both).

Thanks.

The difference between the Lemforder and OE is small enough I'll just go with the OE. I may as well do the carrier and bearing while I'm at it.

Do you know what the size of the hex wrench is for the flex disc?
