Confused with radiator setups
Hi all,
I am trying to get my head around all of the cooling my car has front end, here is the setup I have: Main radiator in the centre - coolant Loop of pipe in front - guessing power steering cooler Intercooler in centre at the front - air Smaller radiator on near side, currently disconnected - oil cooler? Smaller radiator on off side - transmission cooler? Sorry for the really newbie question about this, I haven't seen a W210 with the front bumper off to see what is connected to what. It seems that the radiator on the offside has a blanking plate on one of the inlets - although might just be how the connections are - no clue if this is connected to the other radiator on the other side of its it for something else? Does anyone have a diagram which shows what radiator does what job and where the lines usually run - again, sorry for the newbie question, the car is stored away from where I live so I can't just pop out to check etc.
