oh yeah- no turn signals either
 no gas or temp gauge, no electric windows, and no turn signals but parking and headlights OK- ?

Could that possibly be one of the big combo relays? That's the only thing I can think of that would affect all those things.

Night before last, exactly same prob on my 81 300D was bad # 12 fuse. Check/replace fuse(s).

My signals stopped working after we were looking for a short in the center console. Turns out that if the hazard flasher switch aint hooked up then the signal no workie..
