Aftermarket Reflective Hood Liner?!
Hi all,
For the last couple years I've been wanting to do something to help keep the motor warmer for longer durations of time in the winter. My hood liner is delaminating so I probably need a new one anyway and was thinking about getting a liner like I hope they are wrong but I read in the farmer's almanac that this winter is going to be exceptionally cold for the most part. There will only be a couple short spurts of warmer than average occurances. No, it isn't going to become my winter driver but I'd like to keep driving it until they go crazy with the salt. Thanks,

Dynamat makes a nice underhood liner.......never used it though.

I assume that this liner is cut to fit.....................

Yes it is. I can get it for cheaper than stock but more importantly I'm thinking it may work slightly better than stock.

I lined the generator compartment in my motorhome
with the material that is used in boat engine compartments. It is accousticly(sp?) padded and is quilted aluminum on the outside. Seems as tho it was self adhesive but I am not sure. I am gonna use it on both my cars.
