My CDI was missing both rear jack plugs....so I ordered a pair. Part 203 997 01 86. Am I correct to assume that they simply "pop" in and don't require any adhesive?

They'll pop in. There's usually a small plastic "string" that's supposed to hold them into the skirt if they get pulled out or pop out. If that's not there, I'll usually throw a small dab of super glue on the edges to hold them in place - easy to break off if you need to use the jack.
