E300 Diesel fuel feed hose

I finally found where I've had a small diesel leak and its coming from the feed hose to the heat exchange. I found one on ebay and looks like part number is 2104765226. Does anyone know if this is a special kind of hose or can I use a 9.4mm fuel line from the parts store.

I'm pretty certain that is just a regular hose. You are referring to the rubber line with clamps between the steel supply line from the tank and the preheater inlet, correct?

The MB hose will likely be pre-formed to the correct shape. Regular stock hose may turn out to be a bit unwieldy since there are some 90 degree bends in that hose.

Also be sure to use the Oetiker (Click-R) clamps, the parts store worm clamps will leak.
