Hi guys,

What are all the hurdles when swapping early style front seats in to a car from 85/85? I think I found a 1980 240 that's being parted out and the seats look to be in better shape than mine. From my reading it seems like the seats will bolt up fine but the seat belt receiver on the 240's seat won't match the later w123 style, correct?. Is it as simple as swapping the receiver from the newer style seat to the 240's seat so that it matches what's already in the car? I tried searching for the answers but didn't have much luck.

Also is it possible to swap just the seat back pocket panel from older style seats to the newer style and vice versa?
