Mercedes 722.3 front pump seal (with pics)
I am replacing the front pump in my 722.3 transmission.
I have a question about the round seal in the pictures below. The old pump has it deeper inside the opening, the new pump has it flush with the edge of the opening. Which is correct? Old pump:  New pump:  The reason for replacing the pump is the broken tabs that are driven by the torque converter.
