1987 300 SDL tranny compatibility
Someone gave me a tranny with part number 126 271 2101.
Will this fit into my 1987 300 SDL? And if not, what models would this fit into? I may want to sell it. Thanks

I think that's the part number of the case of a generic transmission assembly part number. You want the application number that follows in the form 722.3xx. Use this table for compatibility - Mercedes Benz Transmission Application
