Anyone ever just remove the whole accordian pipe and EGR?
If the EGR is bypassed, why not just get the stoopid thing outa the way? I'm going to be keeping this car....at least for a VERY long time so I'm not concerned about resell issues. Even if I do, I can just bolt the stuff back on. ...besides, it's ugly looking:p

I have been wondering what I'm gonna do about my broken EGR valve (that led me to believe that my engine was on its way out...). Right now it's just disabled. However, I just wanna close it off. Maybe i'll fabricate that metal plate and place it between the valve and the intake manifold.
