Question 1995 E300D Fluid Specs

In the process of doing a motor and trans exchange in this car and need to ID the fluids and amounts. This is where I am at:

Engine: Rotella diesel sythetic 7.5 qts
Trans 722.435: MB genuine or Shell?? 7-8liters

Power steering: ???
Coolant: gold coolant

Can anyone help me fill in missing blanks?

Shell ATF 134 is fully backward compatible...I would use that. By the way, that Amazon price is terrible. Buy a case from a Shell distributor.

Generic power steering fluid is fine.

My '95 E300D engine takes 7 quarts.

I found some info that the trans for this car takes 7-8 liters, is that accurate? Trying to recall the last time I changed it, thought it was less than that. This is a full change, reman transmission and the cooler needs to be flushed as well.
