Difference between om606 turbo and non-turbo fuel injectors

It seems the 606 engine has a different fuel injector part number for the turbo, vs the n/a model. 0000100651 vs 0000100551.

Does anyone know what's the difference between them? Is it only the pop pressure and nozzle size? Or are there other internal differences?

The reason I ask, is I'm wondering if n/a injectors can be rebuilt to turbo spec, and vice versa, simply by installing the correct nozzles and shimming to the correct pop pressure.

Thanks

There maybe country variations due to emission standards, but UK specs are the same for both including pop pressure.

From memory, the US spec has pop pressure at 135 bar for turbo - not 100% sure as a while ago when discussed, it might be worth searching on this criteria.

U.S. OM617 turbo engines have 135 bar (1960 psig) injectors vs non-turbo 110 bar (1600 psig). I found 3 non-turbo injectors (marked thus) on my 1984 engine and they did pop at 1600 psig. Replacing them w/ 135 bar injectors made no noticeable difference. I would expect a non-turbo engine to operate a bit more efficient w/ turbo injectors since should give a finer spray. Modern common-rail diesels run ~20,000 psig, to give a super-fine spray. Not sure why non-turbos got lower pressure injectors. It does likely stress the injection pump less. I doubt there is much additional power required to run the higher pressures, though that could be a reason.
