82 300d turbo help

I have a few vacuum lines that arent connected anywhere and transmission shifts quick, 4th gear by 30mph even if i floor it. it works if i manual shift but in drive it shifts the same very quick no matter how much gas is applied can anyone help me out with this? called a few shops but they try and tell me its the transmission without even trying to fix the vacuum. Any input helps, tried finding a diagram for my year but cant find a good one. Thank you, pictures to see the lines that aren't connected.

the trans. shift points are controlled by the Bowden cable. its up top on the passenger side of the engine compartment mounted on the valve cover

the smoothness can be adjusted from the modulator on the transmission. driver side mounted on the side of the transmission, above the pan. its got a turn knob.

I went through this ordeal and it takes time and lots of tweaks to get it right/good enough.

good luck

I think your unplugged line goes to the black box on the valve cover. which then goes to the egr valve.

is that deleted also?

I tweaked with the bowden cable, made it tighter/looser that didnt really seem to do anything. I havent messed with the modulator, how is that supposed to be adjusted

it comes from the black box on the valve cover along with the black line that goes to the transmission, but the greyish line with its with isnt connnected to anything just goes from the black box on valve cover to nothing

check this out also. I did these steps when adjusting my transmission.

not sure which version you have, but I think its generally the same idea.
