My daily driver has quite a loud clunking noise when full lock on left turn at slow speed, say I do an U turn. It does not happen if it is not on full, otherwise it drives good. I look at the suspension underneath with steering at full left/right lock and I cannot see anything obvious. The W201 has quite a simple suspension system. The struts, ball joints, tie rods and center link had all been replaced. It is coming from the front driver side, I think. Any idea which part of the suspension can give a clunking sound.
