Question Whatever happened to Charmalu?

Anyone know what happened to Charlie?

I used to see several posts a day from him.

Dunno. Hope he's ok. Great guy with a wealth of information and a generous personality.

Charlie and Adele are still up in NV and doing OK.
I just heard from him yesterday.
We stay in touch and are friends even though we are polar opposites politically
(something this country is in sore need of these days)

He is working on re-roofing his MB warehouse/tool shed (dropped a 2x10 on his foot and broke it)
and he seems to be messing around with Fords and his John Deere tractor more than MB these days..............

Yes! Tell him I said Hi, as well.

It seems he may have some of the same "used" problems that I have. Used car, used lawn tractor, etc...

Hope is foot is doing better! From what others have told me, that can take a long time to heal.

I was in contact with him a few weeks ago.

His foot is getting better. Busy as ever on this property and enjoying being retired.
With the trucks and tractors he's been acquiring, he's been hanging out in the Ford diesel forums and John Deere forums to keep them running.

I'll also will give him a holler to stop by here.

The Russian troll farms would be happy to hear that, since they play both sides trying to split apart the West. Good you manage to stay friends which is what really counts.

Political enemies are a dime a dozen.
I always put family & friends first.

It's obvious, though, that you, Bill Grissom (or whatever your real name is) are a Russian Troll!!
We've been watching you. Vstech, ban this spy from the Forum!!!

...or maybe just move this thread to the Open Forum where it belongs

Sounds like I picked up a stalker (Rooster). I try to be helpful, but not everyone appreciates such efforts. Seems some get upset when they tell a poster, "your engine/transmission is ruined" and my comment is, "probably not, check this ...". Don't always need a consensus, and everyone needs to learn how to read and process information. Feelings don't count in fixing a car.

At least people here are more conscientious than one minivan site I quit visiting because mostly women asking questions, but never describing their vehicle and just responding with how inconvenient their problem was, and fussing how nothing should ever fail. Thus nobody could help them. This site is much more professional.
