I am not a big fan of Canon printers. Had one for about a year, and it died with a code that indicated it needed a new print head. I presently have two Brother printers that have been flawless in over two years of operation. You can get non-OEM ink at great prices, and the printers could care less. The models I have are: Mfc-J650dw, and Mfc-4750dw, and they are both wifi. If you do a lot of pictures, I would stick with the Mfc-J650dw because of its paper loading tray, and you have the capability of inserting most any sd card from a camera directly into the printer.

I have been happy with two Canons. A Pixma MX432 and a Pixma MX732. Both are wireless and work perfectly with easy set up. I buy XXL refilled cartridges on line and they seem to last quite a while. The MX432 is probably 7-8 years old now. I will admit that the picture quality on high gloss paper is only pretty good - good enough to frame but not the quality that you get from Kodak or Wolf Camera in Atlanta.
Agree - this thread belongs elsewhere but glad to reply anyway. I think the moderators often move these things. |
