W140 to W126 rear calipers?

My question is, will the rear calipers on w140 directly bolt on to a W126? The salvage yard has a W140 lying out there. it would be painless R&R two calipers than to rebuild it.

Plus I can get it done within the day instead of waiting for parts to come in.

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

For something like that if the Brake Calipers for w140 and a W126 have the same part number when you look the part number up then they would fit both applications.

Be sure to buy any remanned calipers locally because they frequently have to be exchanged and shipping will eat any initial savings.

I've bought calipers with fronts in a box marked as rears, Left marked as rights, stripped or missing bleeder valves etc.
