I think Diesel300 found it. I’ll have to check it out tomorrow but tif there is only supposed to me a small hole, perhaps the banjo was overtightened and there is now too much flow through the banjo to prime Or run. I’ll have to take the filter assemly off tomorrow and check for a leak to the return system.
Diesel911 you’re right, the high pressure side doesn’t fill without the IP cycling. I’ll update you all tomorrow after i check the housing. Thank you |

Alright guys... guess what..
from dicking around with the fuel system so much during the swap, the washer on the main 21mm filter bolt had been sliiightly overworked, not to the Wong where diesel would come out, but air was creeping in, i guess air was escaping through the return line with fuel and that’s why I could hear it returning to the tank. Thank you diesel 911, and thank you Diesel300, that pinhole under the banjo for air to bleed was what i was thinking the entire time, it’s fine, but while checking it and tightening things i could hear the filter bolt eeeever so slightly hissing. |
