bummer...more front end noises, what could it be THIS time?

out driving around tonight, i noticed while at a stand still if i move the steering wheel clockwise(turning right) i get a loud !pop! coming from the left front wheel. It does it at slow speeds as well, but i can't tell at higher speeds(for obvious reasons). I have just replaced the drag link, both tie rods, and steering shock, so i have eliminated those eliments. I can feel the pop through the brake pedal and through the wheel. When i got home tonight, i was trying to duplicate the problem that it was having on the way home(inside a garage, with a fairly smooth floor) and could only duplicate it if i turned the wheel all the way to the left, and then back to the right, it would "pop" right before it reached the right limit. Tomarrow i plan on going over all my work to make sure everything is tightened up GOOD, and look around, but i'm not too good at this front end stuff. Also, the moaning that i had once before in the right front wheel is back, it was cured for about a day when i replaced the tie rod(old tie rod was supposably the culprit, maybe the ball joint is at fault as well?) thanks
Ryan

Do your brakes pulsate or squeal?

You should try checking to see if the hub is tight. I just did this on my W124 diesel because my breaks would always squeal and the abs would kick in.

Maybe you need ball joints though, but check the hubs. You can check and tighten both hubs improbably an hour or so including taking the wheels off.

Good luck,

Austin
