300SD Manual Trans Conversion
I have an 84 300SD and have access to a 4-speed trans, linkage, flywheel, clutch pedal, etc. from an 83 300D Euro non-turbo. Any clue as to what I'm likely to run into in regard to the linkage and drive shaft? In other words, can this be done without running into any major dilemmas?

The speedo cable drive in the 300D tranny is mechanical (gear), in the 300SD it's inductive. I don't know if you can attach a mechanical cable to an SD cluster.
